Neighbourhood planning is a way for communities like Pailton to have a say in the future of their villages. It gives us the power to produce a plan with real legal weight that directs and controls development in our local area. It will enable us to choose where we want new homes to be built; have a say on what those new buildings should look likeand critically a Neighbourhood Plan, once approved by the residents and Rugby Borough Council, will enable us to benefit from direct financial contributions from developers that can be used to improve our landscaping (both soft and hard) and the social facilities we need in our village.
