Bullet Points of Pailton Parish Council Meeting held Monday 25th October 2021

· Residents have received letters advising of increased HGV activity through the village due to road closures, only some residents have received this letter. Adrian advised this letter was sent by Highways England, he and Tony will investigate.

· Three small trees have fell onto the allotments, these trees belong to the Manor House, Clerk will send letter for resolution.

· Warwickshire County Council are encouraging all 16-17 year olds to be vaccinated for Covid 19.

· A new dementia awareness campaign has been launched and details are available on www.warwickshirecountycouncil.gov.uk

· The best you can be survey is still live. The household support fund for household bill support is now open, full details can be found on the County Council website

· The faded white lines around the village are currently being refreshed, this will include all of the road markings within the village and is scheduled. Additional works for road signage and traffic calming will be carried out also.

· A Rugby Town Centre Strategy Consultation is to open until 11th November, residents are encouraged to voice their views on www.rugby.gov.uk

· The village hall upcoming events are as follows:

6th November Saturday Café

4th December Saturday Café including Christmas Craft stalls

11th December Children's Xmas Party

The post office continues to operate on Thursday's

· Planning Applications and Decisions for Consideration:

R20/0259 The HGV facility has been extended 5 times and is now extended to 17th December.

R21/0914 23 Lutterworth Road remains open. Highways have recorded no objection, but have raised a list of conditions.

R21/0937 Radio Station, Montillo Lane 10 dwellings, remains open. Highways have recorded no objection.

· The Parish Council wish to extend Thanks to James Fowkes for co ordinating the newly formed Neighbourhood Watch group.
