The exciting news is that we have successfully made it through the first step of obtaining funding from the National Lottery Heritage fund, our Expression of Interest has been approved, which is a great boost to the potential of the project, meaning our project has some merit.

THE SAVE THE WHITE LION COMMITTEE can announce that our consultants have very kindly offered to do a webinar for the whole village.

As you know we have been trying to find a suitable way to pass on information to you all within the COVID regulations.

You will be able to watch and listen to them explaining where we are in the process.

There will be a short question and answer section at the end of the session.

If time runs out questions can be emailed in and answers will be emailed back.

As promised, we have been researching the viability of the project to turn the White Lion into a community hub.

To include all the things that you as a community requested in the village questionnaire.

We do of course know that not everyone has access to a computer, it might be possible for you to share with another family or friends as by 21st we will be allowed up to 6 people inside our houses.

If you know someone without access to a computer perhaps you could help them out and share.

If you cannot make the date or time, you will be able to watch a recording of the webinar.

We anticipate that when the time comes to make final decisions COVID restrictions will have been removed, and we will be able to have a whole village meeting in the village hall.
