The Parish Council are saddened to hear of the passing of long standing resident Bob Bakewell, who was a much valued member of the community.

A newly formed Pailton playground committee are seeking volunteers to join the committee, please register your interest with the Parish Clerk at clerk@pailtonparishcouncil.org.uk

The HGV issues around the village have been reported to Highways and the County Council. The Parish Council are currently looking into possible resolutions, including weight limit restrictions. Residents are advised to report all occurences onto the County Councils website to highlight just how severe the issue is becoming.

There are to be additional closures on southbound M6 from 14th April – 19th April so diversions are planned up A426 to A5 and onto M69, this may cause further issues in the village. The Parish Council are doing their best to resolve this.

Litter is becoming an issue around the village and the Parish Council are looking at options to address this.
